Allergy Care® Barriers

Physical micro-porous bedding encasements and protective covers

Allergy Care® Barriers work mechanically as bedding encasements and protective covers. A carefully selected fabric layer sits between the sleeper and bedding surfaces where dust mite allergens, pet dander, bed bugs, and other common indoor irritants may collect.

The Allergy Care® Barriers line includes Microfiber 2.5 | Complete, Cotton Pure & Sure 4.8, and Organic Cotton options to support different comfort preferences, care requirements, and partner needs.

Microfiber 2.5 | Complete

Advanced microfiber barrier fabric

Microfiber 2.5 | Complete is Allergy Care’s advanced microfiber barrier fabric. It is engineered with micro-filament textile technology and designed to provide a breathable, soft, cotton-like physical barrier without relying on chemical treatments or sacrificial polyurethane coatings.

The tightly woven fabric is designed to combine micro-particle barrier performance with breathability, softness, and a cotton-like feel for everyday sleep comfort.

Microfiber 2.5 | Complete is associated with a 2.5-micron fabric specification.

Barrier fabric choices for different patient and customer needs

Microfiber, cotton, and organic cotton options
